Hand Painted Etching by Carol Collette Signed and Numbered Etching with Watercolor The Old North Bridge in Concord, Massachusetts, was the site of an American Revolution battle between the Colonial minutemen and the British Redcoats. It now stands as a memorial to the men who perished in that conflict. The Concord River, over which the bridge stands has long attracted artists, writer, poets, naturalists, boaters and dreamers, to stop a while, and rest or play. The historical significance and the natural beauty and bounty of this area have provided me with some wonderful inspirations, the fruits of which I hope will convey and inspire the same emotions and feelings in those who view my art. |
