vineyard
in the heart of the Napa Valley; the air was so pure and sweet, it was reason
enough to be there. I gazed out across the vineyards to the Macayamas
Mountains rising in the distance and across the green fields shimmering in the
soft summer breeze. The hush of an August afternoon let my mind wander, but
my feet were firmly planted on this lovely terrace, where bold shadows from
umbrellas were cast by the sparkling sun above. Time seemed to stand still,
and I
had nothing more important to do than to enjoy a glass of wine with a friend
and
marvel at the beauty of the surroundings along the Silverado Trail. |
